Kevin Bullfrog

Kevin�s first year in the Betty Huff Theatre Company has him playing the part of the Bullfrog in Honk Jr.  This grade 7 student debuted in Bridge to Terabithia earlier this year.  He feels that the overall experience of working with the cast and crew is a great opportunity.  Being part of a production is a fun experience for Kevin but he hopes to join the improv team at high school next year.  Kevin suggests, �Keep your eye on the dancing frog.�

Nicole Bullfrog

A grade 6 student, Nicole plays the parts of the Snow Angel and the Bullfrog in Honk Jr.  Last year, she debuted in The Wizard of Oz.  Nicole�s passion is singing and she desires to do more singing in a choir. She thinks the experience of being involved in a drama production is great. Nicole has learned, �It�s what�s on the inside that counts.�

Cassandra Cat / Pinkfoot

Cassandra brings her acting talents to the alternating roles of the Cat and Pinkfoot.  This grade 6 student has been a member of the casts of Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Annie Jr.  She enjoys challenging roles, especially when she gets to act evil.  Her future goal is to become a director.  Cassandra says, �It doesn�t matter if you�re �UGLY�, you can always be LUNCH!�

Chantal Cat / Pinkfoot

Chantal plays alternating roles as both the Cat and Pinkfoot in Honk Jr.  This grade 7 student has performed in Jack and the Beanstalk. She enjoys working with other students and teachers that share her enjoyment of drama. Her future plans in drama are undecided. Chantal exclaims, �You can only play with your food if it cooperates.�

Shelby Chorus

Shelby joins the Betty Huff Theatre Company as part of the chorus in Honk Jr.  She is a grade 5 student interested in singing, dancing, and acting. She enjoys the challenge of learning her lines and rehearsing with the cast.  Shelby recommends, �Everyone should sing and dance.�

Josee Chorus

A grade 4 student, Josee is part of the chorus of Honk Jr.  This Josee�s first time on stage with our theatre company.  She enjoys being on stage and likes the challenge of memorizing lines and dance steps.  Josee has learned, �Just because someone is different, you should still treat them the same as every other person.�

Harjot Chorus

This is Harjot�s first Betty Huff Theatre Company production.  She is part of the chorus in Honk Jr.  She would like to have more opportunities to sing and dance in a lead role.  This grade 5 student wants to continue to be part of the Betty Huff Theatre Company and then continue taking drama in high school.  Harjot states, �It�s OK to be different.�

Courtney Chorus/Boy's Voice

Courtney, a grade 4 student is part of the chorus of Honk Jr. Courtney�s drama experience began with last year�s production of The Wizard of Oz. Being part of this production, she enjoys the opportunity of working with the cast and crew.  She hopes to keep acting and being in plays for a long time. Courtney says, �Don�t judge anyone too quickly.�

Natalia Chorus/Girl's Voice

Natalia makes her second appearance with the Betty Huff Theatre Company as part of the chorus of Honk Jr.  Last year, this grade 4 student was part of the chorus of The Wizard of Oz.  She enjoys acting and would like to get a lead role in a play.  Natalia recommends, �Don�t judge a book by its cover.�

Jason Drake

The father of the ducklings is Drake played by Jason.  This grade 6 student has been involved in the Betty Huff Theatre Company for the last two years.  His past credits include Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, and The Secret Garden.  Jason enjoys being part of a cast.  He would like to have more male lead roles in the future.  Jason knows, �It�s the inside that matters not the outside.�

Jade Duckling- Beaky

Jade makes her second appearance with the Betty Huff Theatre Company as the part of the chorus and as Beaky the duckling.  Last year, this grade 4 student was part of the chorus of The Wizard of Oz.  She enjoys rehearsing and would like to get a lead role in a play.  Jade recommends, �Be kind to ducklings.�

Mariah Duckling- Billy

This is Mariah�s first production with the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  She is playing the part of one of the ducklings, Billy.  This grade 4 student plans to continue to learn as much as she can about drama while she is at Betty Huff so that she can become an actress when she is older.  Mariah says, �Don�t judge people on how they look.�

Tasha Duckling- Downy

One of the ducklings in Honk Jr., Tasha plays Downy.  This grade 6 student�s past credits include The Little Red Hen, The Wizard of Oz, and Annie Jr.  She likes acting and singing but hopes to try other things in the future.  Tasha has learned, �Ducklings shouldn�t be mean to their siblings.�

Dominique Duckling- Fluff

This grade 4 student returns for her second year as a member of the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  Dominique is Fluffy, a duckling in Honk Jr.  Last year, she was a member of the chorus in The Wizard of Oz.  Being part of the production gives her a chance to act, sing, and dance. She would like to continue doing more plays at Betty Huff and maybe in high school.  Dominique recommends, �Don�t treat people badly.�

Ifran Goose- Barnacles

This is Ifran�s first time being in the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  He debuts as Barnacles in Honk. As a grade 7 student, Ifran enjoys being involved in the play and meeting new and interesting people.  He is considering joining drama in high school next year.  Ifran says, �What�s the sound of one hand clapping?

Leah Goose- Snowy

Leah, a grade 6 student plays the part of Snowy.  Her past credits include Bridge to Terabithia, and The Wizard of Oz.  She enjoys the challenge of trying to act like someone else.  She plans to return to the Betty Huff Alumni Theatre Company when she moves on to high school. Her goal is to become a professional actress and act in movies. Leah has learned, �Sometimes there are things more important than yourself.�

Jody Grace/Dot

Jody is a grade 7 student playing the alternating roles of Grace and Dot.  She was part of Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, and Annie Jr. in Betty Huff Theatre Company�s past productions.  Jody values the opportunity to dance and sing in a musical.  Her future plans in drama include developing her skills in acting, singing, and dancing.  Jody recommends, �Don�t judge what�s on the outside, it�s what is on the inside that counts.�

Jordyn Grace/Dot

A veteran of the Betty Huff Theatre Company, Jordyn plays the alternating roles of Dot and Grace in Honk Jr.  This grade 6�s past credits include appearances in Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Annie Jr. She likes bringing the character of Dot to the stage and hopes to be in more plays in the future.  Jordyn says, �No matter how you stir the soup, it�s always soup�so never trust a cat.�

Pavin Greylag

A veteran of many Betty Huff Theatre Company productions, Pavin is Greylag in Honk Jr.  Her past credits include appearances in Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Mr. Filbert�s Claim to Fame, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. A grade 7 student, Pavin enjoys the challenge of learning new choreography with each production.  She plans to continue performing when she goes to high school next year.  Pavin tells others, �Don�t judge a bird by its feathers.�

Rittu Henrietta

In her second year in the Betty Huff Theatre Company, Rittu plays Henrietta in Honk Jr. Her past credits include Bridge to Terabithia, and The Wizard of Oz.  This grade 5 student thinks it is fun to sing and act in musicals.  She wants to continue being a part of drama at Betty Huff and plans to join drama in high school.  Rittu tells others, �Don�t judge people by how they look.�

Frances Ida

Frances, a grade 5 student is playing the role of Ida in Honk Jr.  Her past credits include Bridge to Terabithia and The Wizard of Oz.  Frances plans to continue performing and hopes to one day perform at university.  She advises, �For all the ducks out there, beware of the cat!�

Puneet Jay bird

The part of Jaybird is played by Puneet.  This grade 5 student has participated in The Wizard of Oz, The Little Red Hen, and Cinderella. She loves music and having the opportunity to sing and dance in a musical.  One day, she would like to have a lead role in a Betty Huff Theatre Company production or at high school.  Puneet tells others, �Let people finish what they are saying.�

Sarah Maureen

Sarah, a grade 7 student plays Maureen in Honk Jr.  She has been involved in the Betty Huff Theatre Company�s productions of Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, and Annie Jr.  She enjoys singing and dancing in musicals.  Future plans include joining the drama club in high school, and perhaps joining an acting school.  Sarah says, �It�s time for you to get some croissants.�

Elyse Storm Angel

Elyse is performing as the Snow Angel.  This grade 7 student has also been seen in the Betty Huff Theatre Company�s past productions of Bridge to Terabithia and The Wizard of Oz.  She enjoys learning new songs and dances and interacting with people in each production.  She wants to keep improving as an actress, a singer, and a dancer. Elyse knows, �You can�t always have what you want, so stick with what you start.�

Taleetha Swan- Bewick

Taleetha�s first experience with the Betty Huff Theatre Company introduces her to the audience as Bewick Swan.  A grade 7 student, Taleetha enjoys being part of a musical.  She hopes to one day get a lead role in a play.  Taleetha has learned, �Hard work pays off.�

Dana Swan- Father

Dana is a grade 7 student playing the part of the Father Swan.  This is Dana�s debut performance with the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  Being involved with the production of Honk Jr. provides her with a great way to get involved with the school.  She would like to continue acting next year by joining the Betty Huff Alumni Theatre Company.  Dana warns, �Don�t judge a book by its cover.�

Miracle Swan- Mother

Miracle is the Mother Swan.  She has acted in Bridge to Terabithia, and The Wizard of Oz. This grade 6 student had fun doing all the �duckie-ish� things involved with Honk Jr.  She would love to do more plays and plans on becoming a professional actress. Miracle says, �Remember to comfort others in need.�

Courtenay Swan- Penny

This is Courtenay�s fourth year in the Betty Huff Theatre Company and she plays the part of Penny in Honk Jr.  This grade 7 student has appeared in Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods, and Annie Jr.  Courtenay likes rehearsing and sharing the experience with her friends.  She plans to continue being involved in drama next year in high school.  Courtenay says, �Real beauty comes from a heart of gold.�

Chelsea Turkey

Chelsea is a grade 7 student acting the part of the Turkey.  Her past acting credits include The Wizard of Oz, and Jack and the Beanstalk. She likes having a main role because it gives her the chance to act, sing, and dance.  She will continue with drama in high school and hopes to become a famous actress.  Chelsea discovered, �Being a turkey can be pretty crazy.�

Danielle Ugly

A veteran of many Betty Huff Theatre Company productions, Danielle plays Ugly in this year�s production of Honk Jr. Danielle was in Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Rhyme Time, and Annie Jr.  This grade 6 student enjoys being part of a performance that will entertain others.  She hopes to one day star in her own commercial.  Danielle says, �Don�t judge a bird by its feathers.�

Amy Froglet / Chorus

This is Amy�s second time being part of the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  She is part of the ensemble cast of Honk Jr.  Last year, this grade 3 student was part of the chorus in The Wizard of Oz. Amy enjoys rehearsing with the cast and looks forward to being part of more productions at Betty Huff. Amy warns others, �Don�t judge people by what they look like.�

Alley Froglet / Chorus

Alley is a grade 3 student joining the ensemble cast of Honk Jr.  Alley first appeared in the chorus of The Wizard of Oz last year.  She enjoys singing in the chorus but hopes one day to have a lead role in a Betty Huff Theatre Company production.  Alley cautions, �Watch out for mean cats!�

Chantalle Froglet / Chorus

As part of the ensemble cast, Chantalle debuts as a member of the Betty Huff Theatre Company in Honk Jr.  She enjoys having a comical role in the play. A grade 3 student, Chantalle hopes to have a lead part in a future production.  Chantalle says, �Don�t be rude to other people if they are not the same as you.�

Charity Froglet / Chorus

This is Charity�s second time being part of the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  She is part of the ensemble cast of Honk Jr.  Last year, this grade 3 student was part of the chorus in The Wizard of Oz. Charity enjoys rehearsing with the cast and thinks being part of the production is fun. Charity tells others, �Don�t judge a book by its cover.�

Jesse Froglet / Chorus

This grade 3 student joins the Betty Huff Theatre Company this year. He is part of the ensemble cast in Honk Jr.  Previous acting experience includes a role in Jack and the Beanstalk.  He likes performing in front of an audience and hopes to get a main part in a future production.  Jesse says, �Don�t be rude to other people.�

Lori-Mae
Lori-Mae joins the crew of Honk Jr. as a stage manager.  She has an important job helping keep Mr. Swaddling on track and up-to-date.  This grade 7 student is enjoying the challenge of helping to direct a big production but would one day like to give acting another try.  Lori-Mae tells others, �The feathers don�t make the duck!�

Becky
This grade 7 student has the job of a stage manager for Honk Jr.  Becky is responsible for helping keep Mr. Swaddling on track and up-to-date.  She helps direct the rehearsals.  Becky enjoys getting to see what goes on during the production before the audience does.  She is looking forward to the opportunity to be a stage manager for another production one day.  Becky states, �Believe in yourself even if you look different.�

Scott
This grade 6 student is the assistant stage manager.  Scott joins the crew of the Betty Huff Theatre Company for the first time this year.  He enjoys helping out with the play.  One day, he would like to work with the sound and lighting crew, or even possibly be a student director.  Scott warns others, �Don�t judge a book by its cover.�

Alex
Alex is a grade 7 student.  This is her first experience working as a member of the crew. She is a sound technician for Honk Jr. Her past drama experiences include acting in The Wizard of Oz, and Annie Jr.  She enjoys learning about the electrical technology involved in producing a play.  She plans to give acting another try at a future date.  Alex states, �No matter what you look like, it�s what is inside that counts.�

Amanda
Amanda joins the crew of Honk Jr. as a sound technician.  She is a grade 7 student with past acting experience in Noah�s Ark, and Elephant�s Child.  Amanda thinks being part of the crew and helping create the play is a great opportunity.  She is considering a career in acting in the future.  Amanda says, �Being a bird isn�t easy.�

Melissa
A grade 7 student, Melissa is working as the lighting coordinator for Honk Jr.  She first gained experience with lighting in Bridge to Terabithia. She enjoys learning about theatre from Mr. Swaddling and Ms. MacCulloch. She plans to take what she has learned from the Betty Huff Theatre Company and one day work in a professional theatre company.  Melissa suggests, �You should turn on the light if you really want to see someone�s character.�

Andrea
Andrea is a lamp operator.  She joins the Betty Huff Theatre Company for the first time this year. It is her last year at Betty Huff and she wanted to get involved with a school activity.  This grade 7 student has enjoyed her experience so much, she would like to try acting in a production.  Andrea claims, �It doesn�t matter what you look like, you can always be a star.�

Erika
Erika is a lamp operator.  This is her first experience working in the crew of the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  This grade 7 student wanted to get involved in the production since it is her last year at Betty Huff.  She would like to give acting a try one day.  Erika has learned, �If it �honks�, it might not be a duck.�

Maria
This grade 7 student is a stage hand for Honk Jr.  Last year, Maria was part of the chorus of The Wizard of Oz.  Being involved in a Betty Huff Theatre Company production is an interesting experience for her.  Maria hopes that her experience in Drama will give her confidence to speak in front of groups.  Maria tells others, �Treat others like your friend.�

Terence
Terence is a stage hand for Honk Jr.  It is his first experience working as a crew member.  He has been part of the cast in B.B. Wolf on Trial, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. He thinks it is exciting to be part of the crew and helping to bring Honk Jr. to the stage at Betty Huff.  Terence will continue to explore acting possibilities in the future. Terence recommends, �Don�t judge someone before you get to know them.�

Patty
A new member of the Betty Huff Theatre Company, Patty joins the crew as the video camera operator.  This grade 7 student enjoys the challenge of learning about the technical aspects of theatre production.  She hopes to continue learning about camera operation, but thinks she may also give acting a try.  Patty warns others, �The camera adds a few feathers to a duck.�

Marcela
Marcela is a video camera operator for Honk Jr.  This is her first experience working with the crew of a production.  Last year, this grade 7 student was part of the chorus of The Wizard of Oz.  She values the opportunity to see the production develop from its beginning to final performances. She would like to continue learning about the technical side of drama in high school.  Marcela recommends, �Treat others the way you would want to be treated.�

Jag, a grade 7 student joins the crew of Honk Jr. as a video camera operator.  This is his first experience with the Betty Huff Theatre Company.  Working in the production, Jag has learned a lot about drama and thinks he would like to become an actor in the future.  Jag has learned, �A bird is still a bird, even by another name.�
